Blogging has not been my strong point in the past as you can see from the lack of posts to this page……an entire year’s absence. However, I’m back on here to change that. 2014 brought about a lot of wonderful changes in my life that have allowed me to pursue my dream full-time. That’s right, I’m no longer working another job and doing photography in my spare time, I am a full-time photographer! I am at your beck and call and ready for action at any time….well almost any time.

One of the most wonderful changes that 2014 brought for me was the birth of my first child on December 18. She’s changed our hearts and lives forever and these past almost two months have been amazing. Meet, Magnolia Mae Hardin. You’ll probably be seeing a lot of pictures of her in the future since a) I can’t get enough of her, and b) she’s a permanent subject in my household. I took a lot of infant pictures of her in the beginning which I’ll share in a later post because I have not yet edited them. These pictures are from last week. The light was shining just so into my living room and the baby was in a good mood so what better excuses do you need for naked baby pictures!!! And yes, she will hate me for taking these when she’s a teenager.

Musical Selection for the day: “Freeze Frame Time” by Brandon Rhyder

http://youtu.be/5BPYbClxjRY

It’s a beautiful morning, to see the sun rise
It’s moments like this that make me wish I could freeze frame time
I got a hot cup of coffee, gonna watch the world come alive
Surrounded by nature likens the innocence of a new born child

Sometimes we laugh, and sometimes we cry
Some days it’s hard to figure out our way in this life
But it’s moments like these that make me wish
I could freeze frame time.

I got a picture in my pocket, of my baby boy
He’s growing up so fast I swear he thinks he can conquer the world
Just yesterday evening, he come running up to me
He said he made his momma mad and that she said he was just like me

And I laughed until I cried, all swallowed up with pride
You should have seen the concern in that little boy’s eyes
Yes it’s moments like this that make me wish
I could freeze frame time

You are and angel, you taught me how to fly
You picked me up when I was down turned me around and you made me fly high
We’re a little bit older now, together we’ve seen some change
But I love you more now than I did on that very first day

Sometimes we laugh, and sometimes we cry
Some days it’s hard to figure out our way in this life
But’s moments like this that make me wish
Yes it’s moments like this that make me wish
Yes it’s moments like this that make me wish
I could freeze frame time
